Mission
Simplifying property management for landlords and owners in Germany
Tenata is built for people who manage homes and rental units in Germany and want less admin chaos and more daily clarity.
Our mission is straightforward: make everyday property operations easier for landlords, owners, and small property teams. Real-world operations include many moving parts at once: tenant communication, deadlines, service-provider contacts, documents, meter readings, contracts, and annual operating-cost settlements (Nebenkostenabrechnung).
We are two brothers from Cologne, and as first-time homeowners in Germany we experienced the paperwork burden and operational friction firsthand. That experience is exactly why we want to share what we learned and help others have an easier time managing their homes and rentals.
Tenata brings this fragmented work together in one central system — a central brain for home and property management. Instead of searching in five different places, you get contacts, key documents, reminders, and property context in one place.
In practical terms: you keep contacts structured, store documents in a traceable way, stay ahead of due dates, and record meter readings consistently. When operating-cost settlement season starts, you are no longer rebuilding your data from scratch.
Our focus is intentionally Germany-specific: local timelines, practical landlord workflows, and clear communication. We do not build bloated software; we build useful structure: less uncertainty, less duplicate work, and better operational overview.
